Hi, I'm Mandie.

Petals & Pinecone Studio started with a simple love: creating. I've always been a maker at heart — if I'm not designing something, I'm dreaming about the next thing I want to design. Digital art gave that creativity a home, and this studio gave it a name.

For years I was a busy corporate working mom. In my last role as a Chief of Staff, the part I loved most was visual storytelling — taking something complicated and making it clear, and beautiful. And like so many busy moms, I bought plenty of Etsy templates myself, even ones I could have designed, because in some seasons saving an hour matters more than doing it all yourself. I never forgot how much those little timesavers meant.

In 2024 I stepped away from the workforce to give my kids the attention they needed. Around the same time, I got fascinated by AI — and realized I could finally build the company I'd been imagining: a small studio run from our Texas homestead, just me, my sketchbook, and a team of very tireless virtual assistants.

I'm a Christian and a homesteader, and I create for women like me — faith-filled homes, simple living, and things that are lovely without ever being preachy. Nothing distressed, nothing dated: just beautiful things that point gently toward a good God.
